I have a "cartwheel and would like to know if there are any differing die pairings. The coin I have has the branch in Britannia's hand bearing 11 "leaves", I've seen 10 in other coins. As pennies are not my thing I'm just curious. I can post a photo if required.

I think a photo would be a good idea just to get some eyes on the coin. Here's a link to some variants of a 1797 penny:-

Thank you for that speedy reply, here are two photos of the coin I have. I graded it as VF what are your thoughts?
As to the die stampings I can only go on what I know of in my channel island catalogue where die pairings are very important. Sorry for the photos in advance I've not posted any before and compressing them from TIFF format was a bit of a chore. I'll figure that out later, if you need better photos I can e-mail them to you direct.

I use tinypic for changing my image size for here, just upload the image-change size from default to 640*480 then process and finally copy and paste the text [img random text img] into your message on here. You can preview the image first, but it should be fine. If you need any help with that let me know. I use picasa for editing of images aswell.

Now regarding grading, I'm not a good authority to go by-I'd await someone with better expertise in that field.

The reason I suggested adding the image was because someone on here will be able to expand on knowledge better when seeing the coin. But also so I can marvel at a beautiful coin, nice purchase :).
