Seller pretty much lost me at "both sides Doubled Die Obverse."

Whatever he's seeing is Longacre Doubling, more prominent on the reverse than obverse.

Hmm...Longacre outlines weren't that prevalent after 1886...I suspect some kind of gunk/glue/paint stuck around the devices.
The second coin is definitely LD, plus some harsh cleaning...appropriately "slabbed" by NNC.
