Teletrade auction gone! I was going to send some coins to Teletrade and find it has been sold or merged with Stacks Bowers. It appears Stacks Bowers is now going to handle the weekly auctions. Very difficult to understand what the costs will be now. It appears it will cost much more to sell your coins and the buyer's premium is way up there.

Anyone have any lower cost options like Teletrade? (not ebay)

You should really call Ian at GreatCollections. Lowest fees and best service around.

I have heard other members mention Great Collections. I don't know any other details such as fees etc. but you could contact them and see what they say.

The fees are very simple, 10% buyers fee. 5% sellers fee if under $1000.

Great Collections are a great bunch, and if you like their imaging, you have only Mr. blu62vette above to thank.

They're not as large as Heritage, but the quality and reputation of the principals when they formed was such that they immediately got the patronage of the numismatic base. I'd call them equal to Heritage or what was Teletrade, in terms of exposure to quality buyers.

Ian Russell used to run Teletrade, he left them and started Great Collections, Teletrade was absorbed into the Spectrum Group. They are now back as the Stack's Bowers Galleries iAuctions.

Ian is a good guy and Great Collections is a nice auction firm.

I knew S&B was up to something when the auction schedule changed over to a Sunday only format. No more Tuesday no reserve, no fee auctions? Cya !

Yes, I will look into Great Collections as a reasonable cost alternative. The Teletrade platform and Stacks Bowers experience seem not to be very closely related.
