At work yesterday one of the office people was ringing me up when I noticed some coins sitting next to the register. The guy knows I collect coins so I looked at them and there was a buffalo, some Canadian pennies, a Bahamas penny, and a Korean 100 won coin. I told him I wanted them and we agreed on a quarter for the lot. The buffalo is my second one but the date is gone except for a very faint remnant of I think a 2 so somewhere in the 20's. no mint mark on the coin either but besides the date in pretty good shape and it might even be a lamination error to boot. Will try and get a pic up tomorrow if I have time.

Very nice finds, surprising so much foreign stuff too. I've never seen a Korean coin in change. I have tons of Canadian pennies and a few Bahamas coins that I found in circ. 2 buffalos, a 27 and 34, 27 date is hard to see but the 34 is clear as can be. personally I prefer to be the one to find em, its not as much fun when someone saves them for me.

I actually get a lot of foreign coins at my work and a lot of the time they give them to me for free or I give them whatever the coin was used for. I think I see a lot of foreign change because I live next to a military base and also live on the beach so we have a fair number of oversea's tourists come into town.
