Yours is also suffering from some minor but visible corrosion/environmental damage. Yours is actually a known variety. Look at at the Reverse "BR I I AN". The T appears as an I. TPG's do slab contemporary counterfeits. See Machin's Mills for example. Report this Post to the Staff

Other than the Machins and possibly a couple others known to have been struck here I don't believe they slab the contemporary counterfeit halfpence as contemporary counterfeits. I was curious more to keep the set I am doing all in NGC slabs but I agree it probably isn't worth it for this one.
