I've been workng on my coin grading skills and wanted to see how I'm coming along. While this isn't an unique coin, I thought it's quality would be good for checking my grading ability against what you all think it is.

MS-65.

There are a few marks on the obverse.

I would say MS-63 because of the scattered marks on both the obverse and the reverse of the coin. The deep scratch on Washington's jaw is very prominent and that is an important part of the coin in Washington quarter grading.

I'm feeling a 62 on this one. The hit on the chin/jaw is pretty big and the one in the field right in his eye line are a bit much for me to go 63 or higher. If it's possible, can you flip the images so we can see them correctly oriented?

61/62. That hit on the jaw is really distracting, plus all the other marks in the fields and rim.
