It is available for order for Master Club members with reps. I receive an email from my rep asking if I want to pre-order.
Also, he said it was the 4th coin in the series that started with the glass ladybug. So it is NOT a new series.
The limit is 2. The price is $149.99.
Master Club members without reps can order on March 25. Edited by MoneyPenney 03/17/2014 4:51 pm

Sounds very strange, usually it is one day difference.
Could be some extra hype expected, so the Mint want to be prepared and have clear estimation about coin allocation to distributors/dealer including CP.

So, this is the second seller, who puts the "picture" of the coin. This starts to support the early coin pre-ordering via the reps.

This is part of the email message:
"In an effort to make sure that each and every one of my customers is able to order these coins, prior to the sell out I will be taking blind pre orders for this coin in Launch #4. Unfortunately I cannot release the theme / images / mintage or any details regarding this coin, however I assure you that it will sell out very quickly."
No mention of mintage.

its 12500 mintage. Saw it in the CP catalogue. Nice looking coin will try and get a couple. The one thing that bugs me is it states its the 4th coin in the series. When you go to the glass butterfly coin on the mint site it says "This is the third coin of a much sought-after series featuring hand-crafted Venetian glass insects" Well I hate to say it but a frog is not a insect. it eats insects, but that's about as close as it gets to being an insect. That's like making one of the bird coins a bat and saying its the next in the bird series. RCM really knows haw to ruin a series......

@Adorus: Thanks for the link. The coin looks really nice.
Now that they opened up this series to include non-insect, I hope after the flog, the can do a turtle, a snail and maybe a goldfish coin.

Thanks for clarification, MonneyPenney
So could be, this was RCM-approved, "action-in-advance" of your Rep. Need to say, this move is clever, and helpful for the mint to manage the allocations.
Added: i do not think, that starting create to non-bugs, but calling it the same series will hurt or ruin the set. This kind of series of micro/mini-wild life. Living being, that possible to put on flower or leaf. And please remember - they work with glass, so they limited with the object from different reasons. The Candy Cane coin, probably will stand aside, or Mint will decide to create another sub-series of Glass coins with the Holiday theme.

A frog isn't an insect? Who knew? (Evidently *not* the RCM.)

The e-mail from my rep was a bit different. It was referred to as a 'pre-order' that would be confirmed on March 25th. Basically, tell me you want the coin and I will place the order as soon as I can on the 25th. No guarantee until the confirmation next week. Sounds to me that the reps are just getting a head start on orders so that they are not rushed when the coin becomes available.
My rep also included my order history of the previous Venetian glass insect coins, though curiously didn't include the candy cane. I guess they figure I bought the previous venetion glass coins so I'd be interested in this one. There was an implication that this was the 4th glass coin but no real statement that is the fourth of the same series. I personally don't believe that it is the 4th in the insect series - particularly given that frogs are obviously not insects.
The stated limit is 2.
BTW, I received a very similar pre-order offer on the next Maple Canopy coin too.

Does not always work. I ordered at 3 post offices last year for the glass butterfly and did not get a single one. The post offices have a quota and once it is reached there is no more. BTW, I reserved the coins. What is the difference between that and direct ship?
