Received my 3 Santa's today and went back into my account and tried for 3 more, which I shouldn't get, but I did.

The system didn't allow me to do that with the circulation packs. Weird. Maybe they were trying to get rid of stock or something?

I think they are OK, they do make a nice Christmas gift.

As much as people may laugh about the reindeer $20 for $20 and Santa $20 for $20, they are great for Christmas gifts.

If you're not a m/c member, you can order as many 20/4/20 coins as you like - 3 at a time - only if you use different email addresses each time. I used this method when they first started. I got 24 by doing it 8 times with all the emails of friends and family. If you are a m/c member, you can contact your rep (or any rep, if you don't have one) and I think the m/c member limit is 10 in an order. Could be more, if they aren't selling well.

I agree, but mine was all on the same account with the same email.

I just went to mint.ca, without signing on, and selected 3 more coins. At check-out, I signed on, My shopping basket went from 3 to 0, and I got the following prompt/message: "Product Max quantity reached 3" This despite that I've already purchased 16 to put in stockings 6 in 2 orders with different email addresses, and 10 as a m/c member through my rep.

Are these legal tender coins - can they be spent in shops or exchanged in Canadian banks for $20 ?

My understanding is that the status of Canadian $20 for $20 is similar to that of the UK £20 for £20 offering.

Quote: Are these legal tender coins - can they be spent in shops or exchanged in Canadian banks for $20 ? Many posts was written on it. I will try to summarize: Officially - yes, it legal tender as any NCLT. But no one (the businesses) obligated to accept it. Means (as far as I know) they will not accept it. But you can deposit it for $20 to the bank (sometimes the call to RCM required). And You can use it as $20 in the Mint Boutique shop. What about UK 20for20 coins?

So it looks like might be the same case as with Canadian "20 for 20".
Great design for UK, wish it be at least Specimen finish and not BU.

I like my £20/4/£20 UK edition. it's about the same size as our $20/4/$20 diameter, but it's twice the thickness....and 1/2 oz of silver. A very nice feel to the coin. Some might call it a piedfort. It comes in a 'card' that as far as I can see is not removable without damaging it.

@Dcadon: Do they ( Royal Mint) opened the possibility to order the "20for20" internationally?
