Being new to this hobby telling small and large dates apart seem to be a challenge to me. To me this looks small date. Correct?  |

For me, the difference is obvious when viewing the two varieties side-by-side (and when I was younger, even without magnification).
That being said, I would keep this one handy and use it for comparison to future finds.

Dan  , this is my pcgs 1970 small date I spent alot of time chasing this coin and I ended up with three to ms and one proof very rewarding coin and fun find!    Thats all three of them Edited by rupester
