I've never seen a real clipped planchet myself but I've seen photos. I think that it is much too rough to be a clipped planchet, and also the details don't "fade out" near the clip. Just my two pennies worth.
I don't know much about grading but it doesn't look "very fine" to me.

The first coin has a very rough edge and is PMD
The Second coin is a stated a Dryer Coin
the third coin is not gradable

I am skeptical on the first clip however there is the possibility of a clipped coin having no Blakesley effect.
-Coin would have to have an incomplete clip
-Coin then goes through the rimming process
-After rimming process the incomplete clip breaks off becoming one clipped coin with no Blakesley effect.

that clip is slanted, like someone tried to make a blade out of it. attach to a pair of vicegrips and youve got a nice hook blade for rope, wire etc.

with DarrylDarryl on the clip, a strong partial clip could easily break.

"rolled nickel" Maybe asyn has an old dryer and a bucket of old nickels making his own dough.lol

The quarter looks like nice PMD toning,wow...
