Just wondering if anybody can guesstimate a grade for a bunch of half pennies and possible value but not necessary. All help appreciated. Thanks.

Just curious...with no responses...are these coins too far gone to grade?

The 1911 and 1915 coins would only grade to VG but the
other 2 would grade Fine

You obviously like these coins or you wouldn't have posted this thread.
None of the Aussie Mob wanted to burst your bubble and tell you that these are in pretty ordinary grades, that is why it took a while for opinions IMHO.
I have a few Canadian large cents that I think are amazing but most Canadians would consider pretty ordinary as well.
You like your coins and I like mine, That's ALL that really counts

Hi Kafka,

If you are looking for a bit of a 'self-help' resource for coin grading / evaluation, you will find a few on the web.

The link below is to one provided on my resource site, which you are welcome to use:

http://www.tdkapdc.com.au/australia...g-index.html

It is based on Australian pennies from the KGV era, however halfpennies are pretty similar to assess.

It is just a guide, so please keep in mind that others may have opinions that vary from mine.

Hope you find it useful.

Regards,

Tim
