It sounded to good to be true I should have known. The pics where slightly blurry and it was 3:30 in the morning, in my defence, lol. This was a sealed package but I was astounded at the amount of wear on these dimes, so I figured I could cut it open and replace them and reseal it.
Has anyone ever seen or heard of the First Commemorative Mint before? Did someone take the good dimes out and reseal it with lesser grade ones?
Thanks for lookin

I've heard of this mint. Bought two small Statue of Liberty gold coins made by them in 1986 (Bought last month though and flipped for a nice profit too ). Don't be surprised at the quality of these coins. Only the worst quality coins (And the most common dates) end up in these type of sets. Better coins go into collections. These sets are usually made for oblivious non-collectors who are surprised that they can buy these "Ultra-Rare" old date coins for just $10-$15! Sorry you got swindled, hope you didn't pay too much. These coin are worth only melt.
