That's what I'm looking for. From the info I got there is a Far and Near Legend on the rev of the 1983 nickel, I have looked but can't find any info on this?

When you say legend do you mean motto? If that is the case, the motto is on the hubs and can't be a near/far issue. If there is a difference, then it would have to be during the strike the die was mis-aligned? I would need images to see what is going on with your coin?
