If you were a REALLY bad shot, you would have missed it altogether!
If that did happen, the coin would have had a value greater than it currently does, by at least 10%.
Better off not to invest in bullets in this way.

I have one of these from when I was a teenager. But mine is centered. I think that is why this one is rare. It's an off centered error.

Sure, as long as you don't melt it. THAT would be illegal. But you can shoot it, pound it with a hammer, cut it into little pieces etc, just don't melt it.

@justin, you wouldn't make money off doing it. But try a Morgan dollar or something valued a lot, lol.
