There should be many examples from that bag. You might want to start putting them into tubes. Find a marker near the date and start filling the rolls. Or look for the chip near the foot of the "R" in LIBERTY. When you see that, that is probably your doubled dies.

I don't reveal my sources. That way they don't dry up.
I get bags from a lot of different places, and ebay isn't one of them = )

Coop, yeah this is the 2nd type of DDO from this bag. I am taking me time, and I hope I hit a few notch DDRs before its all over and done.

The other is listed here
https://goccf.com/t/173104

It gives me renewed hope that the 1960-P bag I bought from the same place might have something in it as well.
I'll try to let you all know the tally when this bag is finally done.

I got a bag of 1964-P and 1964-D and out of 10,000 coins, nothing. So it is hit or a total miss. So I gave up on bags. I got Over 50 rolls of 1959-Ds & 1960-Ds from the same source. The 1959-D ones I found a batch of 1959D-1MM-010 in them. But the 1960-Ds were duds. I opened about to rolls and found one 1960D-1MM-019. So I quit opening them. I've given a roll to a few other people and they found the same.

Nice find(s). I'm sitting on two 5000-bags of Wheats I bought 10+ years ago. Makes me want to start in on them.

My best find from a bag was a 1937-D 3-Legged 5-cent Buffalo, from a bag of Buffalos 15-years ago.

I have never bought any bags or anything like that, I just go to the bank and get a box from them or customer rolls if they have them. Would not even know where to go to find bags with coins in the such good condition pictured.

I've had very good luck in buying bags of Wheat Cents and Buffalo nickels from local coin shops. It's a win - win situation as the dealer does not have to pay to ship them out and you get a better price.

Give that a try.
