Yesterday a thread on this forum got me searching for PCGS PL65 coins.I found this one listed 4 times.

Is this a common practice on ebay? Can you find other top tier slabbed coins appearing four or more times on ebay?

That is quite weird , the same seller selling the SAME coin in 4 different listings

Since ebay began allowing up to 50 listings per month with no listing fees, I've been seeing this tactic used. It gives an item more exposure, especially to potential buyers who tend to only browse new listings. But the seller had better be ready to cancel the duplicate listings as soon as one sells.

Yeah I've seen it before too. Like Classic Coins said, it's for advertising, but I've also seen it with different prices too. I'm thinking unscrupulous sellers hope someone will bite on the auction of higher price than the lower price. Also, I've seen on other items, for example a digital microscope, they will list for 5 or 6 different prices to see what bidders are willing to pay for it, then they list for that price.
