I understand my picture isn't as nice as there picture. However the nine looks to have the same rounded point. Plus it was labeled as so.

It looks pointed... Everyones a critic BUT your coin suffers from a tad bit of Strike Doubling. Right at the dime...that being said I would say its a pointed nine

The example I have is on a proof dime.

The Red Book mentions the pointed 9 on the 1964-D. So I'm not sure which is correct.

Just picked up a twin to coops out of the junk box..apparantly proof dimes dont get love here
So VV lists this as OBV-11 OBV 12 is the blunt nine so..in theory it could be the 1964 proof obverse of 1963? Sound correct?

This is a cool site I just found that shows what the pointed 9 looks like and it appears to be what you have. I have opened many 1964 proof sets looking for the accented hair but never knew to look for the pointed 9 on the dime. Thanks for sharing this.
