Maybe a medal instead of coinage. 36.5 mm diameter. High relief on the obverse. Can anybody shed some light on its origin, date, and composition?

I did a little research on this, and it looks as if it was a commemorative medal depicting the Shah and Queen Soraya that was reissued yearly (dates ranging from the 1950's up into the 70's), and was made of pure silver.
