I signed up for coins on approval on a website,it said I should recive coins in 2 to 3 weeks, Its been almost 2 months now and I have no recived not even one coin in the mail. Just yesterday I got a letter from the same company saying I owe $49.99 for the coins I ordered. I sent them a email back saying I didnt recive any coins in the mail only 2 free catalogs. There saying its not there fault for me not getting the coins, they said it was my fault. I asked them why it was my fault and they will not answer my emails or my hand written letters. This company is a rip off. I do not want to name the company that I'm having problems with. This has also happend to 3 other people I know..I no idea on what to do

Don't pay. Tell them they can show proof or delivery or buzz off.
By the way to CCF!

Hello Sarah and welcome too Coin Community. Firstly I hear your problems and am thankful for you letting others know about this issue/problem. But please don't spam the forums, it only takes one topic to get your point across. But if you would like advice, I think naming the company involved would shed light on the issue otherwise no-one knows who the issue is with etc. As members of Coin Community may be able to help you, with valuable advice.

Again please don't spam the boards with a repeated topic, I understand you're frustrated-but frustration won't solve the issue. Is this the Mint?

Name the company first and foremost, but tell them to just cancel your subscription and you consider the matter closed.

You have post the same thread 6 times. When you post a thread only hit the submit key once otherwise it will send multiple entries.

I would avoid coins on approval as they are likely overpriced common coins. These coins could also be damaged, cleaned or have other problems.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but if this so called coin dealer cannot supply proof of delivery in the form of delivery confirmation with a signature, this never happened.

And to CCF.

Most "coins on approval" services are overpriced and they guilt you into keeping the coins.

The same with Littleton.

They offer you a great deal on the initial offer and then sign you up for coins on approval.

I took advantage of their offer for 25 UNC Pres dollars for $25.

I sent the approval coins back in their prepaid envelope with a note to cancel my "subscription" and have had no problems with them.

Not sure who you signed up with.
