As we all know, it is very rare to find an attractive Zincoln. Usually fly specks, stains, smudges, and fingerprints mar the surface of an otherwise nice looking coin. However, I happened to find one with very colorful toning which I'm very pleased with. This coin puts to shame all of the millions of unattractive Zincolns out there.

Yes sir, Nice find. I agree they are hard to find. I don't care for Zincs, due to the fact that time is not on their side. So, when I buy proof sets in bulk, and find an all 4 electric blue toned set, they stay in the holder and in a ziplock bag. Maybe they will last, but only time will tell. = ) Its a tough shot through the plastic, but most have a center electric blue hue going on. Best example is to the right. Scratch is on plastic.

Its interesting you say that because someone abandoned a pretty 2012 Zincoln with no imperfections over here and I rescued it and gave it a good home ; I got to admit - Zincolns are pretty attractive when they are in perfect condition and a bit shiny

Collector-Corner- Nice set! If you can preserve them, they may be worth a "pretty penny" someday. DaytR- I agree; Zincolns can be gorgeous when new and shiny. But, unfortunately, they are made from zinc, which is an inferior metal. U.S. cents used to be made from 95% copper, which lasted very well. Zincolns in circulation oftentimes acquire "Zinc Rot", which destroys them very quickly. So I'm always psyched when I find a good toner like this one! It is good to hear that your cent got a good home!

Rollsearcher37 is lucky to have found a clean coin.
I got a number of uncirculated rolls from my bank last year. I went through two rolls looking for clean coins.
I didn't find a single perfect coin and only 23 with just one or two spots.
