I'm watching the coin show this morning. They are offering 20% off with the code SURPRISE20. The 20% discount is only valid for today! They are also giving free shipping on orders over $150. They are also offering up to 6 easy pay payments.

I thought some people may want to take advantage of this sale.

It's too bad they charge so much for shipping.

I have 6 coins (all from 2014) in my cart for a total of $440. The discount is $88 and the tax is $8.95 (even though their website calculates it incorrectly as $49).

The kicker is that 6 coins cost $24.50 in shipping. The result is the 20% discount is now only 9% off what I would pay at Colonial Acres. They have free shipping over $150 but you cannot combine two promo codes.

These are all unpopular (not likely to sell out anywhere) coins and will almost certainly be available later from CP at 20-25%. I'll wait.

That said, if your looking at the kilo silver coin or a few of the larger gold coins, the 20% might be a pretty good deal because they are older coins which are not likely to be in the next CP sale. But they only have 1 of each of most (like the gold sovereign or Bateman kg).

Wonder what the true dealer discount is for large RCM dealers, with the TSC fees, they must be losing money on the RCM products.

Just found my answer from a previous thread.
@arianzo The taxes disappear once you go through the checkout process (but before you hit the 'submit order' button). I think it just adds the taxes as a default, but when you start the checkout process it realizes it's a no tax item. A little weird and annoying, but you won't pay any unnecessary taxes.

At that time, it didn't, I tried several times, maybe now it works, you can try anyway.

So, briefly, if I buy more than $150 and get free shipping I can't get the 20% discount?
