I recently bought these 11 antononiani of Postumus. I payed 12 euro a piece which is a fair price I think. My intention is to keep at least 2 of this lot and sell the rest. I dont know anything about these different antoniniani so no idea which are best to keep. If anyone is interested, let me know

You have four of the first and third ones so keep the better of all, unless you can match them being from the same dies. Than I would keep them all. I'd also keep the VIRTVS AVG. Value wise they are all about the same They are a nice group of coins. I only have one of his, If I were to find a group like this I would be tempted to keep them all.

Nice catch ! They look to be real 'billon' issues rather than silver washed. I prefer these and actually have one kicking about somewhere. I seriously doubt they were issued for a very long period of time. Most probably people had been handed bogus silver for so long that anything approaching 50% would have been snapped up and buried for the rainy day fund. Bad money drives out good ! These coins for that period were definitely the good stuff.

They're absolutely gorgeous. De details on the obverse are amazing. Definitely a great buy for 12 euro a piece!

Keep them! It's a lovely collection of different reverse types. The awe of looking at them all together. Grab them all in your hand, take a picture of it and imagine what it was like to be a rich man in the market in ancient Rome. The feeling is priceless.

Before selling any of these, it may be worth doing a die comparison study of them, especially the obverse.
