Hello, and thank you to anyone who can help me. I'm new to collecting so any information is good. I have this 1803 Reale that is in kind of bad shape. Thought the research I've done I can see that all of the little dings on the face (and back not pictured) are chop marks. If anyone knows anything else about them I'd love to learn.

Thank you for your time.

Welcome. Identification of individual chopmarks is normally not possible, if that's what you're asking. You are probably aware that this was a common practice in China where these coins were the specie preferred and accepted by most merchants for commercial transactions. It appears your example circulated in that manner for quite some time.

Lucky Cuss...thank you. Yes, I was aware it was practiced in China. Most of the examples I've seen only have a few, this one, as you can see, is covered in them. I was curious if there was any way to find out where they came from, and if they add value or decrease it.

Chopmarks are generally regarded as being to the detriment of the coin's value. However, some collectors like the "history" they represent, and those that are plastered with them are certainly conversation pieces.
