Marc Anthony does not look handsome or very happy at all on his coinage. He usually looks a bit like a man passing a kidney stone. I found a large early Republican As (31 grams) for sale once and my $15 winning bid made it worth any risk I was taking. The seller was quite happy and thanked me for having trust in him and his product (he had a low feedback number albeit 100%) As the coin was one of those obviously genuine specimens (well encrusted) I gave him a glowing feedback. But it dawns on me that we have heard of late that shipment of antiquities from Romania is "verboten" that does seem to imply something. Long ago I remember hearing a quote attributed to Czar Alexander II "Romanian is not a nationality ........ It is a profession !" Report this Post to the Staff
