Hi All,
I recently purchased a 1893 Victoria Sixpence with Crown Head not Veiled Head.
I believe it to be very rare but cannot find out any info or pictures to make comparison. Someone said it may be fake but I can find no reference to fakes being on the market. Can anyone help me with information? I would be very grateful

First of all,

If you could show us a picture of the one you bought, some of the more knowledgeable folks here should be able to tell right off if it's a fake or not.

The 1893 Jubilee Head sixpence is in fact quite scarce and is likely a heavily counterfeited piece.

I'm using an ipad and cannot get pictures uploaded. Do you have an email address and I'll forward pictures to you?
