Maybe-It's-Time-To-Up-Our-Security-Features?

I mean anytime we try to send emails or anything else the only security question we are asked is what is 5 + 9 = ?

Maybe we should mix it up with a few more questions. Nothing hard, I mean if the person can't answer 4 × 5 or 8 ÷ 2 then maybe they aren't only enough to be on CCF?

What about personal pins sent to our emails, that we use for access. This would make it a personalised pin, and if it were to get into a robots claws-it would identifiable. Then it could be tracked to the user who either passed it on, or got hacked?

Only the other day a user randomly spammed a message that was relatively the same several times, using the coloured wording that I wasn't even aware of. Maybe that was a pre-run, to test the waters? Because they got responses, but have yet to respond. And considering how worked up they were, I would of thought they would of checked back sooner. Just a thought.

Oh sorry bobby, the user left about 6-7 posts within a very short amount of time. I and probably some other members reported it, to get the other posts removed and just leave one. The 6-7 posts were pretty much exactly the same bar some word changes, and the use of coloured font-which I didn't know I could use until then.

Anyway it was just how fast they posted 6-7 posts, that were all alike that just seems odd. Considering they were so worked up about the issue, you'd of thought they would of replied to one us about the issue. But no replies were received, and they left no knowledge of the company involved? It just strikes me as odd.

In the post linked, in my response it will mention spamming.

Oh I just realised I linked the wrong link, my goodness what is wrong with me this week. https://goccf.com/t/173587 This is the one, I'm so sorry for the confusion. I've been a real scatter brain this week.

Ok, that makes more sense, but the "security features" you mention have nothing to do with posting.

I was just thinking it might of been a test run for a bot on the site? New user, multiple posts-and to no avail?

My first post, was just a different idea about a method to stop bots using the security feature-that would also track the source. However as you have mentioned the sites secure, and I feel safe :).

Sorry I have a random mind, and after the suggestion about a security method. I thought about that post, not related to my suggestion. Sorry I have an ability to not make sense, but I just thought the multi-post was odd almost as if a test run. Just thought i'd mention it.
