I apologize if this has been asked before but I did a search and couldn't find anything. I'd like to take my $20 For $20 and $100 for $100 coins out of their original RCM packaging and put them in a display box.I'm just wondering if anyone has done this and what type of box you used ? Thanks Edited by sherwooddavid 03/31/2014 8:12 pm

$20for$20:1976 RCM case for gold coins. Perfectly fits 27mm silver coin in capsule (exactly as the 20for20 coins) and could contain 10 coins. Good case, but not "wow". RCM minted 10 coins exactly in 2011-2013 and I used that case for them. Alternative: Take the 2013 O Canada wooden case for 1/2oz coins (12 coins). You will need to put the capsule with "20for20" coin into the "rubber"piece that found in the Air-tite ring-type capsules. Sorry, it much more easier to do, than to describe. $100for$100Will not buy all the series, but selected ones, so will not need the case. As I understand from some posts, the US Mint box for 5 ASE set is great for 5 "100for100" coins (same 40mm size). Couple of month ago saw these cases on ebay for $20-$25.

Silveroid,what a bargin ! At that price I ordered 3, they wanted $69.99 & $15 shipping at Coin Cabinet.
I'll use 2 boxes for the $20 for $20 and try to retrofit the 3rd box for the $100 for $100 coins. Thanks again !

Need to add, that the coins of "$50 for $50" series (actually I do not know, if it will be developed into the series), will be the same size as O Canada 1/2oz coins (34mm), so actually, this box will be good for "$50for$50" too.

Oh that's good news ! I thought the $50 for $50 series would have came out today with the new releases. Maybe later in the year and the 3rd box I purchased will be useful.
