I have had this coin for a little while now and always thought it was about VF-EF condition on account of Georges hair, but recently someone told me that 1950 Australian pennies generally have a poor strike. So I decided to take a better look at it but I still cant decide.

The Roo side seems in UNC condition because mint luster can be seen on the high points.

So any opinions? And any guess on value?

EDIT: Also, any comments on the weaknesses of the denticles? It occurs in the same place on both sides. Is this normal? or PMD?

Many thanks, Matt

An MS62BN is worth about $50, an AU58 about $20. Not really worth grading.
