I asked a seller this morning how he could be selling a blank planchet 1c from the early teens.

I love how this person knew it was from the early teens when there was absolutely nothing on the coin.

Might as well gone ahead and advertised it as 1909 S VDB blank!!

Quite possibly a 1909-S VDB with a 100 percent off center strike.

It's heartwarming to see how so many CCF folks are looking out for ebay buyers and sellers, alike!

I received a kindly reply from a seller today. I had told him that a token he was selling was a modern replica. One point I made was how a negative sale could negatively impact his otherwise excellent feedback.

A balanced approach is good for all. When it gets too one sided ... the wheels stop turning.

A seller can keep his 100% feed back with a little effort and some common sense.

Yes, Domain. That's why I expressed it the way I did and received a favorable reply. The balanced alert tends to elicit a mostly favorable response. Words and intent can too often be misconstrued.

While I couldn't agree more with this, common sense is, at times, overshadowed by greed and other personality problems.

When I can get the energy and time ... I might-could-should start another thread on eBay-buyer-seller balanced approach to all good things for everybody, in the whole universe.
