When (if) a buyer is searching ebay for something ... and finds an ad that is out of line regarding ebay rules ... do you take the time (and work), to report it to ebay? Conclusion: If you do not report it ... Why? |

I report all counterfeits and clear misrepresentations. I send a note to those who appear to have inadvertently created a problem listing ... wrong photos, incorrect mint stated, etc.

i send notes all the time to sellers who are either knowingly/unknowingly misrepresenting something or who may be ripping themselves off by not understanding the value of what they have.

I only use and look at ebay for something to laugh about. I never, ever would buy anything from or via ebay. And if I did see something out of line, I wouldn't know since I have no idea of ebay rules, if there are any. |

Wrote to a seller, today, telling him that his token was a replica ... Awaiting his reply.
I routinely report bogus listings. Sometimes I seek supporting opinions here on the CCF.

Carl is missing out!
I have messaged sells selling coins that were cleaned or acid restored and they play dumb.
so I just ignore them now.

I will message sellers and most of the time they are receptive. Will only report if there is push back.

I report listing violations ... every time I see one. Most frequently I report sellers for now showing BOTH sides of a slab IN FULL for coins dated before 1980. The only one that I can recall that wasn't removed was the one that I reported too late for ebay to get to it. |

i report listings every week. last one involved someone selling a common date Indian Head cent for one cent - with shipping for $6.95. |

I don't know what ebay's policy is on too high S&H. Was the seller putting it in a Small Flat Rate Box. haha. ================================= I do know ebay is making some changes for the better regarding seller's responsibilities. I report violations all the time, also some weeks I'm the self appointed policeman of 3cn listings in the 3cs category. Only gotten push back once. Usually people are quite pleased that somebody cared enough to try and help them sell.
