I have just bought an old collection of Chinese charms, along with a few coins. The collection these were from were put together around 1910, and most have old tags attached.

I have a fair idea about most of them, but need a little help to get the exact correct type for most of them. I've created a thread for each of the pieces on the identification forum. If anyone has any references or further info would be much appreciated.

Number 1. A charm based on Wang Mang spade money

Dimensions: 45 x 26 mm

Weight: 14.49 grams

I'm not sure whether this one ought to be classified as "replica" or "charm". Since it doesn't exactly match an older type, I'd lean towards "charm". The closest match are the Wang Mang revival spades; compare with these examples.
