I was lucky to find this coin in the Millenium Set produced by the Royal Canadian Mint. The set remains intact. The coin as most of you I am sure are aware is missing the value on the coin. I have a couple of questions... My goal is to keep the coin at this point but I may sell it at a later date in which case I would want to maximize value. To maximize potential value should I get it appraised (perhaps by ICCS or CCCS)? Is there any value in keeping it in the original packaging? Might anyone have any estimate of what this might be worth?

Thanks in advance for any insight you might offer.

Coin on left is missing denomination. Coin on rights shows proper marking.

Worth about $150. An easily recognized and readily saleable item, no increase in value by having it certified.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
