APMEX.com has partnered with the Perth Mint to create the first truly APMEX exclusive Australian coin.

What do you think about this coin? Will there be any value since it's a Perth Mint with a mintage of only 300,000, or do you think it will remain and bullion device and considered a 1/2 oz round? I've never seen anything like this and it is hard for my mind to wrap around it.
Do you think it would be graded by PCGS or NGC because it is a Perth Mint product... Or no because it is something like a round?

I think they would probably grade it.

Its a cool shark in the middle the top and bottom one are kind of lame though.

As far as premium though, I doubt it on this one. APMEX will sell the whole mintage which actually puts it pretty high compared to most of their stuff which seems to be like 10k or less for the "designer" issues. I dont have a problem with them doing it though I must admit that doesn't really live up to the designs perth usually puts out. Regardless of what someone feels about the subject their designs are usually pretty good. It almost looks like APMEX told them to make it as cheaply as they possibly can to keep the cost down

I like it, but I do agree the sharks in the background could be better.
