1983D-1MM-008 ?

I dont think this coin is any thing but Ihave a couple questions?

The shape of Mintmark?

I was looking at this mintmark and it looks very simular to the 1983D-1MM-008. But I am unsure and have doubts. I see the Machine Doubling but I am not referring to that only the shape of the d.

The VDB is also just below the bottom of Lincoln? Is that normal?

The overall size of the mint mark looks slightly larger, but I'm thinking it is not a RPM. So spread of the punchings noticeable. "TIP OF THE DAY:" The best to check for is this normal for this year is to go to coppercoins and do a search for the year/mint mark of coin you are questioning. (That way you don't have to find one that you may/may not have) On this year the mint marks are a little larger. But if you coin received a contact mark on the mint mark, it would alter the over all shape a little bit.

The VDB, I can see what you are wanting to show in the image. Keep in mind the incuse devices that show Machine Doubling will be enlarged/show doubling when this occurs.
