Hey Mike.

There are many MANY ways to approach collecting silver bullion. Government minted coins and bars. Private mint rounds and bars. Specialty items like art bars, commemorative rounds, and other unique it's like "silver bullets." Many coins and rounds feature artwork covering interests ranging from historical figures and events to beauty and nature, patriotic/commemorative themes, wildlife, and so on.

Note that I used the word "collecting." It's my personal opinion, but silver's price volatility makes it a rough "investment" for most people.

Heh! If someone's figured that out, they're not telling you or me.

There are some professional traders who follow the price action as a means to identify and possibly predict silver's price direction. Check out and follow this thread to see the latest opinion on the silver price.

https://goccf.com/t/142068 is where CCF PM Forum discussions of spot prices happen.
The perspective is mostly present and past, although they do touch on the future a little bit every now and then.

The price of oil can play a factor in the price of gold, which can affect the price of silver. This is never a guarantee, though. If you're new I suggest you just wait 20 years as you may get disgruntled. PMs are mainly for savings, otherwise if you're looking for fast money and no shame/morals/ethics you should try the stock market. Older bars can be worth more than your run-of-the-mill 1 ozers, and so can odd sizes like 2oz, 8oz, fractionals....

If you value your sanity and don't like to be frustrated on a daily basis PMs are not for you. You gotta just sit on them and don't be super greedy. Doubling your money is a good indicator of when to pull out but it takes time, sometimes years which is why I say PMs are for saving not flipping. That's my take: heed or ignore at your discretion.

I view PMs as more of a long term play. The only way we will know if silver is going to go up is if you hear in the news silver production has halted or all mines have dried up lol.

For some reason my LCS sells all his bars for 15% above spot, iv picked up some nice ones at a good price, wish he would get something like this in
