The pic on top is actual, below I've changed the colour. It seems to be a replica of a braided hair cent obv, with the date 1849.
US-Medal-Or-Token-?

US-Medal-Or-Token-?

The rev has a man wearing a broad rimmed hat holding a rock with a spade and a bucket in the background (presumably a prospector). Above: CALIFORNIA, in the exergue 1849.

I've changed the colour of this side, too:

US-Medal-Or-Token-?

So what is this, please ?
