I can't see this in K&M.
What is this, please ?
It looks like a copper duit, but is worn that it doesn't scan well, so I've changed the colour.

28.5 mm 4.79g
Obv: Shield with a lion surmounted by a crown (like those of Utrecht) with an I to the left.

Rev: It's very worn but I can see 4 lines of 'text'

Reverse reads INDIA (or INDIÆ) BATAV (Surabaya mint?) with a date in the 1820's.

Thanks very much.

I now think my coin, like yours, has 1/2 to the left of the shield, suggesting a half-stuiver, eg KM 283 or 284.1.

What is the weight of your coin, please ?

Unfortunately, the digit to the left of the date doesn't seem to be an 8, it has a straight vertical.
