I kept seeing a flashing search box and was curios why it was there. It pops up for a split second when opening or refreshing a page right where the "Ads by Google" bar is

It's always on the left above the navigation bar for me in IE, FF, and Mozilla. In fact, since I moved it from the top right under the auction of the day a few days ago, it's use has increased by 1000%. (Yes, I meant to put 3 zeros)

Anyone else seeing this?
