I received an offer of a tetradrachm of Philip II (father of alexander as you know) I was interested in. Im curious what you all think..is it genuine and a good deal?

I am not expert on these types but the style seems very strange. The flan seems very thin and oddly irregular in shape. The 'tets' I have seen are rather thick and fairly round. This may be an unofficial issue out of some wild and woolly place but I am skeptical. Test cuts tend to be the normal condition for these tets. I would be cautious about this one.
The coin is very worn and porous and the weight is off by a bit. This difference can be caused by the wear. I think the coin is OK, I believe it's Sear 6684. If it's cheap go for it, if not wait for a better example.
