A very rare coin and certainly a contender for one of the 30 pieces of silver that Judas was paid to betray Jesus. Scholars today think the Tyre shekel would be a better candidate because it is a far more common coin. I really do like the piece it was really one of my favorites. Very difficult to find. I challenge you folks to find another one for sale.
