There were 62 bids on it. Ended April 15 11:31 edt if you want to look. It looks very real until you get to the bottom of the ad where the seller discloses:

"On 14-Apr-14 at 22:45:56 EDT, seller added the following information:
PLEASE NOTE that this is a gold-plated item."

Seller has 100% feed back with 53 stars.

Scary...buyer beware.

I had seen it too. Reported as well. Apparently ebay doesn't care.

If the seller actually states that the bar is clad or plated its ok. Clad and plated bars are not fake unless the seller states they are real. Buyers just have to be extremely careful and read the entire listing before bidding. I wouldn't buy any gold myself on ebay unless it is from a well known dealer such as MCM or APMEX.

He added it one day before it ended. Also, clad bullion isn't allowed on ebay anymore.

I do buy Silver on ebay but I'm very careful of who I buy from.
Im sure some people just see Gold/Silver in the title and a weight then just bid without reading the whole listing

god thats dirty,,, DIRTYYYYY!!

I have seen that before tho,,, at the VERY END of the auction they add the "fine print".

I even see similiar dirty tactics used in selling vintage toys, such as Star Wars toys...
