I have a coin with the same guy on it, I'll get it out and check it, and get right back to you.

I just found the coin. I think that it's Gallienus (253-268 A.D)He was the son of Valerian I and was made co-ruler with his father. During their reign, the Empire was under invasion on all sides and Rome's defenses were proving inadequate.Valerian was captured by the Persians and ended his life in captivity. While Gallenius became sole Emperor.

There are a few differences between my coin and yours though. The guy on the front of my coin has a beard, and on the reverse their is someone standing, who looks similar to the one in the center of your coin.

I purchased my coin for $19

I agree with echizento. It is a Claudius II bronze antoninianus. The reverse legend is likely VICTORIAE GOTHIC (short for Gothicae). It shows a battle trophy and two captives; in the exergue are the letters S P Q R (Senatus Populuque Romanus). Issued to celebrate Claudius' victory over the Goths at Naissus in Northern Greece. RIC 252/var. Here is a similar one at Vauctions http://www.vauctions.com/auctions/A...asp?ID=50916
