I believe the Half Dollars and Presidential coins are not in general circulation for the past few years, correct?

What about the Native American coins?

Err, I use 'em all, but the golden dollars (native american and presidentials) are rarely used in circulation.

I know as of 2011 the NA$ was minted for circulation, unlike the Presidential $'s. It seems the mintages for the NA$ have really dropped off since 2011.

pres stopped at #20, pres #21 (Chester A Arthur, known thanks to Die Hard with a Vengence) was not circulated because they had billions just sitting around nobody wants.

halves are in circulation, it is just taking us time to get them to circulate, like there is a coinc lot in the economies arteries or something. but 2001 and up are the ones not put into circulation by the mint. many are found often though. probably 10 per box or more.

Ike's if you find them keep them. if you don't want them, I will be able to take them from you but I will have to charge you for their rent when you send them (kidding!).

you can pretty much find anything in circulation just depends on who got rid of something they never circulated like proofs. commemorative, etc.

If they were in circulation they wouldn't be minted for collectors only. They're nifc coins now and circulate less than dollar coins. Halfs just get searched more by roll hunters so it's not that unusual for a bank to have them.

Halves are minted for collectors only. They make a few million each year.

Proofs are only worth what someone wants to pay THAT day.
One day they sell for 5, next day 1 dollar.
