My son was digging through a roll of 1969-D pennies looking for some outstanding examples of Machine Doubling, and didn't find any.

Last Image actually has a Split Serif. All have the classic Bar in the center of the primary D.

BUT, he did find three 1969-D/D East RPM's !

It might be an earlier die state of this one?

Note the fading SE/NW die scratches on the CC coin. Check to see if you have any matches to these die scratches?

Possibly a MDS, a fat chance its an EDS, no satin finish but the details are pretty sharp and these are blast-white Reds.
