I believe they are common on merc dimes. It depends how pronounced it is as to whether it gives a coin a premium or not.

Not a major clash,there is an area by IGWT,nape of neck and above the nose.Can't seem to get a good enough pic to post.

@John, I haven't tried those yet but my guess is the crack needs to be big to make the value go up.
I found one with a small crack on the head going to the rim.

Buffalo nickels with cool die cracks or Die clash are worth 3 to 10 dollars.
