What variety does this look like if any. This is the only pic I have, sorry.

I'm going with S3....at least until I get my new guide when Rick gets back from Chicago.

S-3 is the best choice in my book.

I'm torn between S-3 and S-4. The date position is far to the left, which makes me lean toward S-4.

Thanks all. I hope its the S-3 as there is more collectibility to it. This was an unattributed MS65RB NGC coin.

Nice pick up! Hmm...comparing the bust point to the date--something not shown @NGC--I have changed my mind to S-4.

The digit punches for S-3 and S-4 are the same. The only difference is the date position relative to the bust, with the S-4 being further to the left.

As for rarity, there are no S-4's graded at this level with NGC. NGC has graded/attributed only 11 coins in all grades as an S-4, compared to 319 across all grades for S-3.

Due to the similarities in the varieties, I would guess that there are some S-4s that have been misidentified as an S-3, but even so, the S-4 is much scarcer.
