Well, I was just about to give up on cents and go back to nickels for a while. I haven't had much luck with cents lately. I only had 5 rolls left, when I finally came across a decent keeper. 2000 Wide AM. WOOHOO!

awesome, congrats! The only 2000 WAM I've found was a nice MS example that got cracked out of a roll in front of me, and dumped in a till at a store.... Obviously I couldn't see what coins were in the roll, just that she cracked a new roll for the till and the WAM just happened to be one of the coins I received as change, lol. Otherwise I've looked at thousands and thousands of cents and haven't found another, lol.

On a side note I got a full luster MS 1947 wheatie and a circulated wheatie from a small store yesterday.. I didn't notice until I got home but I may have to go back and see what else they have Incase someone cashed in a collection there, lol.

NathanASE;

If that was me, I would have went back to the store and bought them out of those cents, where there is one WAM, there is potential to be many.

But I am not fond of Zincs, so it would have been sold asap.

What's going on here? A 2000 WAM yesterday... And a '98 today! This is getting crazy!

I asked for customer wrapped rolls this time. I wonder if that's the ticket!

It is my humbled opinion that once you put in the tonnage of work necessary to learn about this hobby of ours and are willing to dedicate the hours also necessary, pretty much the rest is just luck.
