Hi all. Has anyone got any idea what could have caused the holes and bubbles in these three coins?

These coins are made of plated steel. Fairly mild steel, that would rust fairly easily if it were not plated. Damage like this happens when a pinhole-sized hole in the plating is made, just through ordinary circulation damage. If the coin is placed underwater or some other wet or damp environment, Water gets in and underneath the plating and a rust bubble spreads. As it grows, it tears an even bigger hole in the plating, accelerating the process.

Thanks for your answer. Could they be classified as error coins or not?

No, not an error coin. But it is called PMD, or Post-Mint Damage.

Not to sound rude but chuck/spend um... They're just considered "damaged coins" and would probably sell for less than an un-damaged coin of the same types would. Amyone who wanted this effect on their coin (for some crazy reason, lol) could just make a pin pricks as mentioned and throw it in a cup of water for a while to achieve this result.
