I recently received a pcgs ms 70 2014 ASE. On the reverse are black dots / spots. At first I thought they were on the holder, but they are on the coin.
They are around the lower stars above the eagle, on the "E" in silver, the "U" in United, and the "1" in 1 oz. Has anyone seen these before? I've seen milkspots, but never black dots. Was this improperly graded or did they develop post grading?
Any ideas / comments would be greatly appreciated.

Depends on who you ask but you can bet the farm the dots were there in the tube they came from. You can send it back for a replacement coin if they still do that. nlp
I don't know if it would make sense on an inexpensive coin when you factor in shipping, insurance, etc..., but are you referring to the PCGS guarantee?
