I sold a silver eagle on ebay. Today I look at my feedback and he leaves a positive feedback but it says packaged NOT received. I looked at my order tracking that is provided with printing postage on ebay and it says it was delivered. Should I be concerned?

No, he has no grounds to ask for a refund or open a case if item was received. Although it will be best to inquire why he said that and if there is a misunderstanding request feedback revision.

The funny thing is I never got any sort of communication from the buyer at all, just the feedback. As far as I know, no case was filed with ebay. I take offense to his feedback. I been on ebay for 15 years and nothing like this has ever happened. And something seems fishy since delivery confirmation says it was delivered.

If it is a positive, let it be and have him contact you if there was nothing received. He may have copied out his response to a different seller and simply pasted into yours In the end its a positive an he has not complained. I'd leave that can of worms alone. It will eventually fall of the main screen and be just a number soon.

Step one is to block this buyer from bidding on your auctions. This person sounds like they could be trouble.

Great advice, thanks! I am leaving this one alone for sure. And how do you block a buyer? That is something I have not done before.

I can tell you that I, as a buyer, have experienced twice a package that the tracking said delivered but I hadn't received at that moment. In one case, it arrived 3 hours after and in the second episode, it arrived the following day (I think it was delivered to the wrong address).
Now, it's strange he leaves positive and states that he hasn't received it. You could ask the buyer.
I read in this forum about a buyer that left positive and like 30 days later opened a case for not received item and he won the case (not remember if there was tracking).

Tracking is the only way to save argument between ebay, seller and buyer, without it, the buyer always wins.

I am so glad I decided to print my postage via ebay. Otherwise I might have not got delivery confirmation to fall back on.

There is the off chance he was being lazy with the feedback selecting an option his browser saved that he had used before and clicked the wrong one. Without any word from him it is very strange to leave positive and say that though. You have the tracking though so you should be protected from any case if one did arise. I would probably politely ask him about the feedback he left and see what he says though.

I agree with Collector-Corner's reply. A positive is a positive, Just let it be, maybe its a mistake, but if it's not at least you have tracking confirmation proof that it was delivered. And that's all ebay requires to protect you as the seller. Don't set yourself up for a bad experience, trust me when I say there are a few "wacko's" on ebay, and sometimes even well intentioned communications with these people backfires and just provokes them to open a case. It is also possible that he gave you a positive by accident. So Whatever you do don't ask him to change or revise his feedback, or you may just be giving them the opportunity to change it to a negative. Remember he still has plenty of time to open a case against you, and he may be well aware of this. Even though the tracking shows as delivered, he could still open the case. If he claim's he never received it don't worry about it. Let ebay handle it. ebay will likely give him what they call a "courtesy" refund, it won't cost you anything or count against you. Except there would be a temporary hold on the money if he used PayPal.

Agree..a positive is a positive. Probably just a typo on his part.

Check his previously left feedback for the exact text. He may just have let his browser populate the field without looking. I've gotten some weird ones. One was "nuff said" and another was just a period. In both cases, that was the feedback they gave everyone. All you can do is wait for new ones to push it down the page.
Oh, and I noticed the buyer is from Fredneck. Not a lot of bright people there.
